WHO IS THE BEST SUBMISSION ARTIST IN 2026?
Five names keep coming up. We ranked them on one thing only: finishing elite grapplers, on the biggest mats, right now. Post-ADCC 2026 edition.
5. Jasmine Rocha — ADCC 2026 -55kg champion in Krakow, submitting Ana Rodrigues in the final. No points were scored on her all tournament.
4. Luke Griffith — ADCC -99kg gold by rear-naked choke on two-time champion Kaynan Duarte in the final. Dethroning a king with a finish beats a title won on points.
3. Helena Crevar — ADCC +65kg gold at 19, the youngest women's champion in ADCC history, with every match won by submission.
2. Victor Hugo — Four matches at ADCC 2026, four submissions, all from the bottom, and +99kg gold. ADCC named him Best Fighter of the tournament.
1. Felipe Pena — The first athlete ever to win the ADCC absolute twice: three submissions in four absolute matches, capped by a rear-naked choke in the final. Hugo had the perfect record; Pena had the harder bracket, and the history.
Just missed the five: Roosevelt Sousa, who submitted all three men he faced on the way to the absolute final, and Marlon Tajik, who took Fastest Submission at ADCC 2026.
So — who's YOUR #1? Drop your top 5 in the comments on the post.
